WEDDING Officiant QUOTE FOR katie and adam

FRIDAY JUNE 10, 2016 | MADISON EVENT CENTER | COVINGTON, KY | 6:30 PM

Dear Katie and Adam-

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and thanks for your inquiry!

At this time, I am available for both a rehearsal on June 9, 2016 and your wedding ceremony on June 10, 2016.

My quote includes all of the following:

Initial “get to know you” meeting. We’ll talk about how you want the ceremony to “look.” I’ll review ceremonies with both traditional and contemporary components and get an idea of what best reflects the two of you as a couple. We’ll talk about the order of service, bridal party roles, and family members and friends who you might like to include.

This usually lasts an hour or so, and is when I take the time to get to know you both as a couple--I will ask some questions about how you met, family, etc. This helps me most with your vows and the talk I'll give at your ceremony. When you're ready you'll schedule a time to meet at my office.

Customized ceremony. I create each ceremony from the first word to the last. This means it will be unique to you (and your guests). Creating one-of-a-kind ceremonies is one of the reasons I enjoy working together with couples as it makes the experience both personal and heartfelt. Your ceremony will be exactly as you'd like it--be it traditional, contemporary, or a combination of both. I'll also send suggested readings, but usually the couple finds at least one of her own. I'll talk to you about some creative things that couples have shared in the past. We will also discuss any readings you'd like to include.

Vows. I will help/coach you through your personal vow writing and then help incorporate them into the ceremony. This is scarier than it sounds but during your ceremony it is the sweetest moment (and sometimes funniest)--plus the one that both you and your guests remember. If you don't want this component, no worries.

Special Ceremony Components. If you'd like, this will include a sand ceremony, wine box ceremony, hand fasting, unity candle or other special "mini-ceremonies" within your wedding ceremony. We'll explore (many) options and together find the one that best suits you. .

Final review meeting. After the ceremony is written for you, and we have finalized readings, family/friend participation, vows etc. we’ll talk in person or by phone to be sure we have everything covered.

Rehearsal. Given our planning up front, we should have a fairly simple rehearsal. This is really about you both being comfortable ahead of time so that you can enjoy your wedding day! I will have clear and easy instructions for your family and wedding party so the ceremony runs smoothly. This is when the venue rep, musicians/DJ, etc. and I will also be sure we’re in synch with ceremony door/music cues, etc.

Your wedding day! I will be there one hour before just to check last details and see both of you before we meet together for your vows. I also have a great assistant who helps out “behind the scenes” and is an extra hand if you need her.

Marriage License. You are responsible for securing your marriage license in the appropriate jurisdiction in which you are being married--normally no more than 30-60 days prior to your wedding date. Before we begin the ceremony, please have your license materials available for my review, and my (and witnesses if required) signature after the ceremony. I 'm happy to send the executed license by certified mail within 5 days of your wedding day. Some couples prefer to do this on their own but this is included in my services as Wedding Officiant.

The fee. The ceremony fee including all of the above is $500. I require a $250 (50%) deposit which will secure the date and from there we’ll start the ceremony planning. The balance of $250 will be due on or before June 3, 2016.

The Agreement for Officiant services should be completed if you choose to proceed with hiring me and reserving your date. You may complete that here

The $250 deposit may then be made at: www.revscottdemarco.com/deposit

I would be honored to be your officiant, and look forward (hopefully!) to getting to know you both.

Once the deposit is made, you may also schedule a convenient time for our initial meeting at: www.revscottdemarco.com/booking and choose “Wedding Ceremony Consultation”. We'll meet at my office in Covington, unless other arrangements are made.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call, email or text and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Please note that these dates will not be confirmed until a ceremony deposit is made. I will hold these dates for 24 hours and after, that recommend that you check in again to be sure your date(s) are available before booking.

Please let me know you received this, and thanks again for your consideration!

Best,

Scott
