I have placed your wedding date on a complimentary hold through November 20, 2019.
After that time, please verify availability before booking as there may be other quotes out for the date. Thank you!

Hi Brett and Kristin!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and thanks for the honor of quoting on your wedding! If you would please let me know you received this quote by checking and submitting the box below, I would be grateful.

At this time, I am available for both a rehearsal and your wedding ceremony.

My quote includes all of the following:

Wedding Ceremony Consultation. We’ll talk about how you want the ceremony to “look.” I’ll review ceremonies with both traditional and contemporary components and get an idea of what best reflects the two of you as a couple. We’ll talk about the order of service, bridal party roles, and family members and friends who you might like to include.

This usually lasts an hour or so, and is when I take the time to get to know you both as a couple--I will ask some questions about how you met, family, etc. This helps me most with your vows and based on your initial information, and I'll tailor your ceremony to your wishes be it modern, traditional, or secular. When you're ready you'll schedule a time to meet at my office, or we can also meet via FaceTime or Skype.

Customized ceremony. I create each ceremony from the first word to the last. This means it will be unique to you (and your guests). Creating one-of-a-kind ceremonies is one of the reasons I enjoy working together with couples as it makes the experience both personal and heartfelt. Your ceremony will be exactly as you'd like it--be it traditional, contemporary, or a combination of both. I'll also send suggested readings, and you will complete a survey of ceremony components to help me get a feel for the style that suits you best.

For more information about what is included in Ceremony Planning, click here.

VowsIncluded but not required. I will help/coach you through your personal vow writing and then help incorporate them into the ceremony. This is scarier than it sounds but during your ceremony it is the sweetest moment (and sometimes funniest)--plus the one that both you and your guests remember. If you don't want this component, no worries.

Ceremony Planning. We will plan your ceremony from Processional to Recessional, including the Order of Ceremony, Order of Processional, Standing Diagram, and Processional. As a professional officiant (and wedding planner) we will design more than just your ceremony, and I'll do more than just "show up."

Special Ceremony Components. If you'd like, this will include a sand ceremony, hand fasting, unity candle or other special "mini-ceremonies" within your wedding ceremony. We'll explore (many) options and together find the one that best suits you.

Pre-Marital Discovery/Counseling. Included but not required. Two pre-marital "counseling" or discovery sessions (way more fun). The "discovery" sessions are not intended to "counsel" problems or issues, but are designed to be a fun (and VERY laid-back) way to discuss life issues and planning. Plus it's an opportunity for me to get to know you better and hopefully share some laughs. This. can also be formatted as more traditional premarital counseling sessions, however, the issues discussed are the same.

Final review meeting. After the ceremony is written for you, and we have finalized readings, family/friend participation, vows etc. we’ll talk in person or by phone to be sure we have everything covered.

Rehearsal. Given our planning up front, we should have a fairly simple rehearsal. This is really about you both being comfortable ahead of time so that you can enjoy your wedding day! I will have clear and easy instructions for your family and wedding party so the ceremony runs smoothly.

Your wedding day! I usually arrive one hour before your wedding to check last details and see both of you before we meet together for your vows. This is when the venue rep, musicians/DJ, etc. and I will also be sure we’re in synch with ceremony door/music cues, etc.

Marriage License. You are responsible for securing your marriage license in the appropriate jurisdiction in which you are being married--normally no more than 30 days prior to your wedding date. Before we begin the ceremony, please have your license materials available for my review, and my (and witnesses if required) signature after the ceremony. I 'm happy to send the executed license by certified mail within 5 days of your wedding day. Some couples prefer to do this on their own but this is included in my services as Wedding Officiant.

The fee. My fee for all services is $650. (**$100 discount/pre-pay option below)

I require a 50% ($325) deposit which will secure the date and from there we’ll start the ceremony planning. The balance of $325 will be due 14 calendar days before your wedding date.

The Agreement for Officiant services should be completed if you choose to proceed with hiring me and reserving your date. You may complete that here

The $325 deposit may then be made at:

**If you choose to pay-in-full, I offer a $100 discount which will bring the total for the same services to $550. If you choose this option, please (1) complete the Agreement for Officiant Services at and (2) make the payment for $550 at

I would be honored to be your officiant, and look forward (hopefully!) to getting to know you both.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call, email or text and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Please note that these dates will not be confirmed until a ceremony deposit is made. As a courtesy, I will hold the date through 9/23/17. After that time, please just check back in with me (quick text or email) should you wish to book to re-confirm availability. I no longer notify couples who have passed the hold period when a new quote comes in or is booked. (Sorry, this was time intensive.)

If you would like to meet before making a deposit, please book an "Initial Consultation" at, however your date will remain open until it is booked by deposit. I'm happy to accommodate whichever way works best for you.

Please let me know you received this, and thanks again for your consideration!
